Wolf Lodge Inn Restaurant

Directions – Take I-90 east to exit 22. Turn left and cross over I-90 to E Frontage Rd. turn right and travel on E Frontage Rd for 1.25 miles to the Wolf Lodge Inn Restaurant.
The drive will be in the Coeur d’ Alene National Forrest and mirror what we did in early September. We will again explore Treasure Mountain, Huckleberry Mountain and Wendy Ridge. The loop is 30 miles in length and will take us about 2.5 hours to drive. We will stop halfway for a comfort break and to view the colors of autumn so don’t forget your camera. Warning, there are no restrooms or outhouses along the route just lots of trees.
The roads are dirt, however 4 wheel drive is not required. The majority of the drive is on fairly smooth roads with some narrow sections, a few ruts and a lot of curves.
After the drive there are no formal activities scheduled. You are on your own for lunch period the oldest building in Idaho, The Cataldo Mission is just down the road at exit 39 and there are plenty of great places to eat in Coeur d’Alene
This is a free event. Come with a full tank of gas, water at any other provisions to hold you over during the drive.
