1960 356 B Super (T-5) Sunroof Coupe
This is a rust free car with 112,000 original miles. Car has been in storage for 28 years. Following is the partial restoration. Engine rebuild including heads, valves, cylinders, rings, front and rear main seals, clutch, carbs, fuel pump and fuel lines. Those items not replaced have been cleaned, repainted and checked for condition. Head work was done by Richard at Alpine Motors. All three instrument clusters have been sent to Palo Alto Speedometer for reconditioning. The seats have been reconditioned. Brakes have been rebuilt. New wheel bearings and new tires. Rubber and glass in excellent condition. Car was re-sprayed in the late 70s, Paint has some issues but has been professionally buffed out and shows well. Chrome in good condition but not perfect. Shocks have been rebuilt by Hartmut at Alpine Motors. This is a matching numbers complete car. Restoration is still in progress but expect car to be road ready by 15 April 2010. Any issues other than those stated above will be corrected.
